In 2005, local students accounted for 89% of the total, a figure that gradually fell to 81% by 2018. Conversely, international students made up 11% of the student body in 2005, and this percentage rose steadily to 19% at the end of the period.

Throughout the fourteen-year timeframe, the decline in local student numbers was continuous, dropping by 1-2% every two years. Similarly, the proportion of international students saw a consistent upward trend, increasing by roughly 1% annually, reaching 14% by 2009 and 17% by 2015, before finishing at 19% in 2018.
