These three sectors together account for a significant majority of the total emissions.
In contrast, industry generated 11 million tonnes, which is substantially lower than the top three sectors. Waste was the smallest contributor, with only 6 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent, representing a considerably smaller share compared to all other categories.
