The table illustrates the annual per capita consumption of five distinct dairy products in America, measured in kilograms per person, over a five-year period from 2005 to 2010.

Overall, while milk consumption saw a decrease, the per capita intake of cheese, yogurt, butter, and ice cream all increased during the given period. Milk remained the most consumed product throughout, despite its decline, whereas butter consistently recorded the lowest figures.

Milk consumption steadily fell from 80 kg in 2005 to 73 kg in 2010. In contrast, cheese consumption showed a consistent rise, starting at 14 kg and reaching 17.5 kg by the end of the period. Even with this increase, cheese remained significantly lower than milk.

Yogurt, butter, and ice cream also experienced upward trends. Yogurt intake grew from 7 kg to 9.5 kg, while butter increased from 5 kg to 6 kg. Ice cream consumption also rose, from 12 kg to 13.5 kg. These three products consistently had lower consumption rates compared to both milk and cheese.
