Instead of mandatory allocation, a more sustainable approach involves focusing on creating genuine opportunities and fostering an inclusive environment. Companies should invest in robust training and mentorship programs specifically designed to prepare women for leadership roles. Additionally, promoting flexible working arrangements and addressing unconscious biases in hiring and promotion processes can naturally lead to a more balanced representation at all levels, ensuring that people are advanced based on their skills and experience.

In conclusion, while it is undeniable that there is a need to address the gender imbalance in high-level corporate positions, I maintain that imposing quotas is not the optimal path. A more constructive strategy involves cultivating an equitable workplace culture through targeted development and unbiased processes, which will ultimately yield more qualified and respected leaders.
