Overall, male executives significantly outnumbered their female counterparts in finance and technology, while the reverse was true for healthcare and education. There was a clear split in gender representation across these occupations.
In Finance, males accounted for the largest share of executives at 68%, with females making up the remaining 32%. Similarly, in Technology, male executives were even more prevalent, representing 75% of the total, compared to 25% for females. These two sectors showed a strong male majority.
Conversely, women held the majority of executive positions in Healthcare and Education. In Healthcare, 66% of executives were female, while males constituted 34%. Education also saw more female executives, at 58%, which was higher than the 42% male representation in that field.
